HOW TO PLAY THE SPIRALIDOO It is played with continuously vibrating lips to produce the drone whilst using a technique known as circular breathing. Breathing through the nose whilst simultaneously expelling air out of the mouth using tongue and cheeks, exactly the same as you would play a traditional didgeridoo.
For the beginner the light weight, the shape and the proximity of the players ears makes it the perfect learning instrument by hearing yourself making the different sounds as you practice. On stage, a stand up microphone, or best of all, an inserted one at the resonate end of the spiralidoo, allows the maximum sound production as well as giving the performer freedom of motion whilst amplifying his presence to the audience.
